Long Weekend

One of the jobs for the long weekend was to clean the driveway. It's been getting progressively more slippery when wet but the rain during the week turned it into an ice rink.

The local hire shop wanted $118 for 4 hours for a pressure cleaner which is ridiculous, so I went to the hardware shop and bought one for $128. It worked a treat.

Seems the driveway had got away from me a bit. Didn't realise how bad it was. The rain held off just long enough for me to finish the job.

Water and electricity running to the same place makes me nervous, but what could possibly go wrong?

Our visitors have moved into their new rental accommodation now, but before they left someone had to have one last play on the laptop..
